Tiffany also has a cat named Cupcake, though it's unclear if she is also a rescue
Tiffany Trump has introduced her newest
rescue kitten on social media — revealing she changed the
tangerine-colored feline's name from Orange Crush to Simba.
Two
weeks after she adopted the cat from the Humane Rescue Alliance, the
25-year-old first daughter made it Instagram official with a photo of
her new pet, who is her second rescue kitten in just three months.
'I’m
so excited to introduce my newest rescue kitty, Simba!' she captioned
the close-up image of the cat's deep blue eyes and pink nose.
'This kitten was found abandoned under a
house and would surely have died if not for the great rescuers at the
Humane Rescue Alliance,' she wrote of Simba's harrowing backstory.
'I’m
so grateful to them for rescuing him! I can’t wait to spoil this little
guy, and give him the love, like he (& all animals) deserve!
#adoptdontshop #Simba.'
The proud cat
mom also shared photos of Simba on her Instagram Stories, including a
picture of the new kitten cuddling with his sibling Petals.
Tiffany
and her boyfriend Michael Boulos, 22, adopted Petals from the rescue
center in Washington, D.C. in June, and it looks like the two cats have
become fast friends.
Michael was also with Tiffany when she rescued Simba, who was called Orange Crush before she changed his name.
The Human Rescue Alliance shared photos of the couple playing with the fluffy feline before taking him home.
'Congratulations
to @tiffanytrump and @michaelboulos who adopted Orange Crush today from
the Humane Rescue Alliance,' the center captioned the image. 'The pair
adopted Orange Crush as a friend for Petals, who they brought home from
HRA in June.
'Orange Crush and Petals
are just two of the more than 5,000 animals the Humane Rescue Alliance
works to find homes for each year. Tiffany and Michael were thrilled to
add a new kitten to their family!'
