Ivanka Trump is the daughter of US president, Donald Trump,
73, and one of his senior political advisors. Formerly a model, she has
previously shown her love of fashion by releasing her own fashion
brand. However, she could have her eye on another career now and her
body language shows why she might run for president.
Working for the White House, Ivanka has already exercised her political powers by attending official events on behalf of her father.
Some people have speculated she could be getting set to run for President herself and the journalist, Michael Wolff, claimed in his book, Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House, she will run in the future.
He wrote: “The first woman president, Ivanka entertained, would not be Hillary Clinton; it would be Ivanka Trump."
Amid these rumours, Ivanka’s body language has been through a dramatic shift which could show she is preparing for the change.
When making speeches, she has become more relaxed in the political role and appears to have taken tips from her father, body language expert, Judi James, explained.
Analysing a recent speech, she told Express.co.uk: “The direct, amused eye-gaze and the more relaxed gesticulation and communication with her audience suggests Ivanka is learning to relax and use humour in her delivery.
“This is much more in the style of her father than her step-mother now, with the comic, palms-up shrug and the rounded, pursed lips both being signature gestures of the president.”
The businesswoman also appears to have adjusted her style since her father entered the White House.
“Her styling is both more functional and more practical now,” Judi told Express.co.uk.
“The double-breasted pants suit worn with the jacket open like this allows for ease of movement during a speech from stage.
“Her look seems to be morphing into one that is more about business that beauty queen here. The hair is more severe and stylish and the tweed fabric of the dress is decidedly low-key compared to some of her earlier outfits.”

away from her life as a glamorous model and trying to establish herself
as someone to be taken seriously.
“Ivanka looks less like a woman who feels the need to pull out all the stops in terms of glamour and perfect poise to be noticed and to succeed," Judi said.
“Her eyes have a rather wary expression but her mouth smile is rather more relaxed and congruent and her arms are held slightly away from her body rather than rigidly down at her sides in a self-diminishing ritual.”
