Lara Trump has returned to horseback
riding just three weeks after she gave birth to her daughter, Carolina,
and she couldn't be happier about it.
The
avid equestrian took to Instagram over the weekend to share a photo of
herself riding a horse at a stable in Bedford Hills, New York, writing:
'So stoked!! I’m back!'
The
36-year-old is dressed casually in a striped T-shirt and jeans in the
snapshot, which shows her sporting a riding hat, boots, and gloves as
she poses on top of her horse.

Lara and
her husband, Eric Trump, welcomed their daughter on August 19, and while
she remained active throughout her pregnancy, it's likely been months
since she was last on a horse.
Many
doctors have mixed views on whether or not it is safe for even a
skilled equestrian to ride horses during pregnancy. The biggest danger
for an expectant mom is falling off the horse or getting kicked off.
In
general, the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists
advises that pregnant women should avoid activities with a high risk of
abdominal trauma such as horseback riding.
Lara
famous broke both of her wrists in a horseback riding accident that
took place just two weeks before her November 2014 wedding to Eric, but
her injuries did nothing to temper her love of the support.
Five
years later, she is still an avid rider, and she didn't waste any time
getting back in the saddle after giving birth to her baby girl last
month.
