She ditched the modeling world to attend college

Despite a successful modeling career, Ivanka was destined for a different path. She told Marie Claire that modeling was never her "endgame." She began her college career at Georgetown University where she studied for two years.

Her junior year she transferred to the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania from which she graduated summa cum laude with a degree in economics in 2004. Even during college she was doing speaking engagements, like in 2003 (in the above photo) when she spoke at the Television Critics Association to promote the film Born Rich, in which she starred.
