Ivanka Trump and her family skipped out on
this year's Easter festivities in Mar-a-Lago and instead opted for a
private ski vacation.
The first
daughter, 37, stayed away from social media for most of the weekend
until she shared two pictures on Sunday of herself enjoying snowmobiling
with the family in what is believed to be Aspen, Colorado.
'Snowmobiling
into the week like...' Ivanka wrote in her caption while sharing two
pictures where she is decked out in snow gear with her face covered.
In the pictures, Ivanka is seen posing
with one of her children on the snowmobile. But it is unclear which
child she was with as both their faces were covered with helmets ahead
of the snowmobile ride.
No photos were
shared during the vacation about how the family chose to celebrate
Passover. But Ivanka acknowledged the holiday on her Twitter Friday.
'Happy Passover to all celebrating! Chag Sameach,' she wrote.
After
getting together with husband Jared Kushner, 38, Ivanka converted to
Judaism. Her husband is an Orthodox Jew, meaning they celebrate the
Sabbath every week.
Starting on Friday evenings, the family will disconnect from devices and spend time with each other until sundown on Saturday.
She
probably wanted a private vacation away with Jared and their three
children as the White House senior advisor was away all last week on her
first solo Africa trip.
Ivanka
traveled to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, and Abidjan, Ivory Coast for her
four-day solo trip to promote economic empowerment for women in
developing countries.
The busy week led to Ivanka enjoying some time with her children and husband away from the hustle and bustle of Washington D.C.
But
it is unclear exactly when the family decided to travel to Aspen for
the weekend. They could've spent Passover in either Washington D.C. or
New Jersey, where Jared's family is based, for the holiday before
hitting the slopes.
